The Holidays…

Well the holidays are here…and there are so many things that I could be writing about.  I could write about people shopping and trying to put the perfect presents under the tree…btw if you are out there shopping please go to the small business owners and local artists in your area.   If you do, this will keep help to keep your community growing and thriving!!  I could write about the rushing round to get to holiday parties and attending them,  preparing the food, cooking in the kitchen, and shopping for just the right outfit.  I could write about the fact that this time of year either brings out the best in people or the worst in people.  I am not really going to write about any of those. 

I am going to write about taking care of yourself.  All year long we take care of other people, and we neglect ourselves.  I am not talking about becoming selfish, but making sure that you have enough of you so that you can be there for others.  We are always there for our friends, family, our bosses and our jobs.  When are we there for ourselves??   This is the most stressful time of year, this is when we need to make sure that we have balance.  I laugh sometimes when I discuss balance with people.  They look at me like I have lost my mind.  Balance, where do I make the time to have/find balance??  If there is ever a time of year…this is the time of year to find our balance.  If we don’t take care of ourselves then who will??  We can’t be there for our friends and family when we are empty.   If you find yourself in a conversation where you can feel it will go wrong, them honor your feelings and get out of the conversation.  If you are tired excuse yourslf and go get some rest.  Try to eat right and yes, the old drink plenty of water comment is next on the list.  These are things that will help your body to try and stay in balance during this stressful time of year.  Find something to read or do that is just for you, to remind you that you are special and important.  Honor that inner royal person that you so often forget!!  With all of these words, no matter what…be kind to your self and remember to love yourself!! 

One final note…I will not be at Holiday Hoopla in Gulfport this Saturday or at Horan Park on Sunday, due to a special event over in Orlando.  I will however be back next weekend Pass-a-Grille market on Saturday the 17th and Horan Park on Sunday the 18th.  Hope to see you all soon, somewhere…wishing you a wonderful season with many hugs an much love to all…

  I was having trouble writing this blog last night, so I let it go knowing that the topic would come to me today.  The summer has been one of amazing experiences, and as I had been gone for the last three weeks I was sure that I was supposed to write about the journey, NOT!!  All I will say is that  letting go of limiting beliefs, recognizing fear, walking through it,   and feeling, seeing and experiencing all the universe has to give to you is amazing.  I am learning this on so many levels!!  Maybe I have chatted on this topic before, but today is a new day.  The past is the past, and we must plant our feet firmly in the present…because it is our gift.  Sooo…I will share the gift/signs of the day. 

I decided to walk this morning along the stretch of beach that I had not seen for awhile, but have been enjoying since my short return.  Many of us know that the sea water is healing, the sound of the waves, the taste of the salt and the feeling of the sun.  Well today as I entered the water…I was gifted with dolphins, ( Lynn I had you with me when they arrived…thank you for your part).  Now many of you know that when I am on the beach they always make an appearance if any where near in the area.  Today they swam with in 25 yards to 75 yards…near me.  The feeling was amazing, peaceful, gentle, beautiful.  There was a lovely lady by the name of Jan from Tennessee and we got to share them together…feeling their playfulness, their grace, their joy and their bliss.  They are here to show us flow, creativity and healing.  To teach us that we are one and that it is ok to laugh, cry and to feel.  They are here to watch over us, much like angels and guide us to our destination filled with love and support.  As Jan and I watched these magnificent creatures there was a sense of being right there, in the now.  If we had one dolphin to watch we must have had 10 plus to just make our hearts open and feel love.    I realized while walking later that they play a huge part in teaching us about living in two worlds.  I know that they are here to help me to know it is safe for me to be true to me.  I also know they are here to guide me  into my path and help me do all that I am supposed to do.  So I thank them for their marvelous gift/present of the day. 

I have chosen a watch made with Amazonite and turquoise…to show with this article.  Calmness and clarity from the amazonite as well as strength.  Turquoise to protect and hear all that we are supposed to hear and be connected to the bigger picture.  many hugs with much love to all…Randi

Calm Blue Ocean…

Well it seems to be time to write again…and I must admit, the last couple of days have been interesting for everyone I know.   With all of this moon energy, the eclispe and just a shift in lots of everything…I head to the beach to walk.  I find peace and solice there, and if not peace then atleast a moment or two where the waves drown out the thoughts roaming in my head and the sun fills  my soul.   For myself personally these past couple of days have been  a time of looking and reflecting and yep, growth once again.   Asking myself, what is it that I really want.  You would think with all of the asking and searching that I have been doing…I would find the answers…well I believe that I did (atleast for this moment in my Aquarian life).   I found that I want peace and harmony and at all costs.   I found that I truly want to honor myself and not settle for anything because I am worth it.  I found that whether  I am with a special person in my life or without that the person that I have to be honest and gentile to is myself.  We are so hard on ourselves at times, hearing the tapes of our past …did we do the right thing, what will they think…yada yada yada…well I ask you WHO gives a rats ass what anyone thinks…other than yourself.    And those tapes, they were put there by someone who either really didn’t love us or was jealous of us…so with this moon I say get rid of those damn tapes!!    So in honor of those many walks on the beach that I have been taking…I named this new piece “Calm Blue Ocean”.  She is made with jaspers and agates.  She is grounding but more than that she is a piece that says…”I am Worth it!!”    I will be at 3rd Friday Music Series in Saftey Harbor this Friday in front of Harbor Accents come out and see me.   Everyone enjoy the full moon…in all her glory and many hugs with much love to you all…Randi

Inner strength…

Again it has been a few weeks since I have been able to blog.  The world, atleast mine seems to moving at a fast pace, and I am keeping up and just amazed at all that is going on.  The show season has been wonderful in so many ways this season and for that I am grateful. 

Now it is on to a move…this was something that has been planned since the first of the year, not really ever knowing when exactly I would have to be out.  Just trusting that all will happen as it is supposed to…and ofcourse it is.  This is about letting go…and moving forward.  Sometimes when this happens we get scared.    We look at ourselves and wonder is this the right thing to do…but we might forget to add the words…”for me”.  There are moments when you feel like you are all alone…well trust me you are not.  It is at those dark moments, that a trusted friend calls…yeah they knew.  It is at those  moments when you feel the sun hit you in a way that you have never felt it before, or hear the wind blow, like it is really the first time you heard it…these moments get you through those dark places of feeling alone.  Because that wind blowing and that sun hitting on you…well it just means you belong to a bigger picture…and then that move, or that letting go seems to be a bit easier.  No one ever says it is always easy, and there are those times when it is down right sad.   That is when we find our inner strength and know that whatever we are doing…it is the right thing for us to do at this very moment in our lives. 

I have chosen this awesome turquoise, amazonite and pearl necklace  to show.  Turquoise will help us to recieve the guidance we might need,pearls to keep those obsticles out of our way, and the amazonite will give us the strength and the calmness…helping us to get through some of those moments where we need to find our inner strength.  If you find your self on a journey…and you aren’t sure exactly where it is going…just know that you will find your inner strength.  Many hugs with much love to all…Randi

And yes we all are changing…

It’s been a few weeks since I have posted a blog.  It seems as if things are changing, the world is changing, and many people I know are going through changes…myself included.  Most of the time we find ourselves afraid of change.  If I am honest about this, it has not been one of my favorite things to do, but then I seem to do a great deal of it…lol.  The question is…do we bring these changes on ourselves??  Or do we just wait and they come at us like a bowling ball down the lane headed for the pins.  In the tarot deck…the tower card represents change…a hitting you over the head change if the card comes to you up in a reading upright and if reversed more along the lines of we are helping these changes to occur.  One thing I do know…we need to take care of ourselves during these changes.  We need to be kind to ourselves, and to remember that what ever the change…there is a reason.  We might not know the reason yet, but never the less there is one.  I choose this rhodochrosite bracelet because it reminds us to love ourselves…so through your times of change…remember to love yourself…be kind to yourself and see the changes as things to bring you to a more better and kinder place.  Good luck with whatever in your world is changing…and I send many hugs with much love to you all…~Randi
