The Holidays…

Well the holidays are here…and there are so many things that I could be writing about.  I could write about people shopping and trying to put the perfect presents under the tree…btw if you are out there shopping please go to the small business owners and local artists in your area.   If you do, this will keep help to keep your community growing and thriving!!  I could write about the rushing round to get to holiday parties and attending them,  preparing the food, cooking in the kitchen, and shopping for just the right outfit.  I could write about the fact that this time of year either brings out the best in people or the worst in people.  I am not really going to write about any of those. 

I am going to write about taking care of yourself.  All year long we take care of other people, and we neglect ourselves.  I am not talking about becoming selfish, but making sure that you have enough of you so that you can be there for others.  We are always there for our friends, family, our bosses and our jobs.  When are we there for ourselves??   This is the most stressful time of year, this is when we need to make sure that we have balance.  I laugh sometimes when I discuss balance with people.  They look at me like I have lost my mind.  Balance, where do I make the time to have/find balance??  If there is ever a time of year…this is the time of year to find our balance.  If we don’t take care of ourselves then who will??  We can’t be there for our friends and family when we are empty.   If you find yourself in a conversation where you can feel it will go wrong, them honor your feelings and get out of the conversation.  If you are tired excuse yourslf and go get some rest.  Try to eat right and yes, the old drink plenty of water comment is next on the list.  These are things that will help your body to try and stay in balance during this stressful time of year.  Find something to read or do that is just for you, to remind you that you are special and important.  Honor that inner royal person that you so often forget!!  With all of these words, no matter what…be kind to your self and remember to love yourself!! 

One final note…I will not be at Holiday Hoopla in Gulfport this Saturday or at Horan Park on Sunday, due to a special event over in Orlando.  I will however be back next weekend Pass-a-Grille market on Saturday the 17th and Horan Park on Sunday the 18th.  Hope to see you all soon, somewhere…wishing you a wonderful season with many hugs an much love to all…

  I was having trouble writing this blog last night, so I let it go knowing that the topic would come to me today.  The summer has been one of amazing experiences, and as I had been gone for the last three weeks I was sure that I was supposed to write about the journey, NOT!!  All I will say is that  letting go of limiting beliefs, recognizing fear, walking through it,   and feeling, seeing and experiencing all the universe has to give to you is amazing.  I am learning this on so many levels!!  Maybe I have chatted on this topic before, but today is a new day.  The past is the past, and we must plant our feet firmly in the present…because it is our gift.  Sooo…I will share the gift/signs of the day. 

I decided to walk this morning along the stretch of beach that I had not seen for awhile, but have been enjoying since my short return.  Many of us know that the sea water is healing, the sound of the waves, the taste of the salt and the feeling of the sun.  Well today as I entered the water…I was gifted with dolphins, ( Lynn I had you with me when they arrived…thank you for your part).  Now many of you know that when I am on the beach they always make an appearance if any where near in the area.  Today they swam with in 25 yards to 75 yards…near me.  The feeling was amazing, peaceful, gentle, beautiful.  There was a lovely lady by the name of Jan from Tennessee and we got to share them together…feeling their playfulness, their grace, their joy and their bliss.  They are here to show us flow, creativity and healing.  To teach us that we are one and that it is ok to laugh, cry and to feel.  They are here to watch over us, much like angels and guide us to our destination filled with love and support.  As Jan and I watched these magnificent creatures there was a sense of being right there, in the now.  If we had one dolphin to watch we must have had 10 plus to just make our hearts open and feel love.    I realized while walking later that they play a huge part in teaching us about living in two worlds.  I know that they are here to help me to know it is safe for me to be true to me.  I also know they are here to guide me  into my path and help me do all that I am supposed to do.  So I thank them for their marvelous gift/present of the day. 

I have chosen a watch made with Amazonite and turquoise…to show with this article.  Calmness and clarity from the amazonite as well as strength.  Turquoise to protect and hear all that we are supposed to hear and be connected to the bigger picture.  many hugs with much love to all…Randi

Joy and Peace…

And it seems as if since the move blogging is a bit harder for me to get to…but I am back.  I am back because this morning while walking the beach I got to feel the coolness of the gulf.  While taking in the feeling, yes in the physical and emotional sense,  I looked to see dolphins playing maybe 50 yards out…such beauty.  They remind me that we are to have peace and joy…because when you see these playful creatures…they are truly peace and joy. I showed them to 2 little girls and watched their eyes widen with wonder, amazement and excitement.   Such a great feeling to share and see their delight!!

I have been struggling lately with letting people be where they want to be in their lives.  This includes myself …maybe because I am still finding out who I am.  Are we not at peace with who we are, we should be even while growing and changing…or not.     I sometimes find that joy is easy to have while peace requires a slightly differnt appraoch.    Seeing love in everyone…isn’t that what we are here to do.  So in the last days…I have felt a calmer sense of peace and as long as I look and see exactly what things are and how they are…and just put love to them and to me…then I will have my inner peace.  That love I speak of also includes loving myself, no matter what or how I see things…because this is really who I am.  If I don’t like something that is fine, but I must allow others to have their own experiences without judgement as this is how I want to be treated with my life and my choices.  If we see ourselves with love, then we will be able to see others with love.  I have chosen this amethyst and quartz crystal necklace to show for many reasons…amethyst helps us to see the bigger picture on any and everything while the quartz will clear, clean and energize us…be it our bodies, minds and/or souls.

Love to do Custom Work!!

Wow…it’s Thursday.  Where did this week go…oh yeah Valentines’ Day hit and the world and all of those with open hearts just loose time and space.  Is time really important…is space really important.  Probably not, but when you are going away for a weekend then there are things to do like get you blog written…oops… you should pay attention to some time…lol. 

 I have featured a photo of one of my favorite pieces that I do.  I call them collars with a twist.  They have the feel of vinage, very vintage (18th century vintage) with a bit of the present  added to them.  This was a special order fo a great friend/client.  When I saw the purple swarovski crystals and they were what I would call on sale….I let my friend know.  Actually I had already bought them because I knew that she wanted one of these awesome necklaces.  I was told to put it together with whatever finish I thought best for her…and she has her favorite stones!!  Well when thinking about this lovely lady, she just reminds of a bunch of love herself.  She has a bunch of kids,  a great husband and like all of us…those moments.   She is one of those that can loose time and space even with all that goes on in her life.  So when I found two awesome strands of rose quartz tear drops, well I just knew!!   I finished her collar off with those fabulous rose quartz drops because of the size of her heart…not that she needs help, but hey it never hurts!!  Anyway…to those that didn’t know…yes I do custom work.  Something just for you that will make you feel like the princess, queen or lovely maiden that you are…just contact me!!   And that whole thing with time and space…sometimes we just need to loose it for a day or two!!   Sandy wear her in great health and with the love she was made for you!!   many hugs with much love to you all…Randi

Turning 50…What a Path!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah…I am now officially 50 and many of you have heard this for a few days now.  Looking back at the last 10 years a great deal has changed…Holy crap has it changed!  Ten years ago I was married to a really nice person, but we grew apart…both wanting to be who we were and not loosing ourselves.  Sometimes to keep who you are you have to leave…and while that is a very hard decision to make, loosing myself was not an option…and some would tell you I almost did.  Then I moved, well yes that comes with divorce, usually and decided to rip up the house I bought and be under construction for 6 months …and once I had happily done all of that…I left a company that I had worked for for 19 years.  What was I planning to do… follow my heart and create awesome jewelry…enter www.randibling.com. Now to add to all of this I have also gone back to school to learn energy healing.   With all of this comes some sort of growth or insanity…I will personally go with growth and  who ever said don’t do all the stressful things at one time…really I say just rip the damn bandage off!!  I guess what I am trying to say…if you are on the fence about something,  just do it!  For those of you that have been in my life for the last years…I am blessed to have you.  Thank you for all of your support, friendship and love!!  many hugs with much love to you all…

Celebrating life…and how it happens

While I was walking on the beach today I was thinking about my topic for the blog…many things came to mind, talking about a design, beads, the beach, the weather…then came life…and all that I myself had experienced in the last days.  Then the thoughts of friends and their experiences came into my head…there came the topic of celebrating life.  There are many ways to celebrate life… a friend of mine just lost a dear old friend, another friend is experiencing heart ache and yet another friend is celebrating a birthday!!  They are all ways in which we can truly celebrate life…

In the person experiencing the loss of a friend, the stories I heard him tell were stories that warmed my heart and his while he told them.  I could tell that this person had somewhere made an important impact on my friends life, and while he is morning he is also celebrating…knowing that he is grateful to have had this person in his life.  My friend that is experiencing the loss of love, this one sometimes seems tough, but I would rather to have experienced it for just a moment or to than never to have experienced it at all.  Love means never saying your sorry…or does it?   It means loving us for who we are, but remembering that in the end…we love ourselves and grow with whatever we got from our time together.  In the end, it will all work out and something amazing will come from it…sometimes it just takes us time to see this!   Then there is the birthday friend…btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ms. Queen of Glass (you know who you are)…that celebrating of life comes with many things.  Looking back at the past year, how and where did we grow?  Wondering a bit about the future and wondering what the new year will bring with wisdom and laughter, and then ofcourse the day…and all of the glory that this was the day that you came here to be with us and share who you are!!  There are many ways to celebrate life and we should never take for granted that we are special, no matter how we maybe feeling at a certain moment!  many hugs with much love to all…
