Joy and Peace…

And it seems as if since the move blogging is a bit harder for me to get to…but I am back.  I am back because this morning while walking the beach I got to feel the coolness of the gulf.  While taking in the feeling, yes in the physical and emotional sense,  I looked to see dolphins playing maybe 50 yards out…such beauty.  They remind me that we are to have peace and joy…because when you see these playful creatures…they are truly peace and joy. I showed them to 2 little girls and watched their eyes widen with wonder, amazement and excitement.   Such a great feeling to share and see their delight!!

I have been struggling lately with letting people be where they want to be in their lives.  This includes myself …maybe because I am still finding out who I am.  Are we not at peace with who we are, we should be even while growing and changing…or not.     I sometimes find that joy is easy to have while peace requires a slightly differnt appraoch.    Seeing love in everyone…isn’t that what we are here to do.  So in the last days…I have felt a calmer sense of peace and as long as I look and see exactly what things are and how they are…and just put love to them and to me…then I will have my inner peace.  That love I speak of also includes loving myself, no matter what or how I see things…because this is really who I am.  If I don’t like something that is fine, but I must allow others to have their own experiences without judgement as this is how I want to be treated with my life and my choices.  If we see ourselves with love, then we will be able to see others with love.  I have chosen this amethyst and quartz crystal necklace to show for many reasons…amethyst helps us to see the bigger picture on any and everything while the quartz will clear, clean and energize us…be it our bodies, minds and/or souls.

Moments Remembered…

There are many moments in our lives that we remember that bring us joy and smiles…I’d like to recall one of them.  I ofter get asked how did I come up with the name “RandiBling” for the company.  Well to be honest, I didn’t!!  I remember working a home show while still selling wine for a living…had just snuck out of the booth and attended a small gem show which was literally right next door.  One of my friends went with me.  I walked into the room and it was if I was pulled into a certain direction…to a table with lovely amethyst on it!!  I could not move until I had purchased a strand of this awesome stone.  We went back to the booth and the story was told…and we decided right there and then that I was hooked and would have to be selling my jewelry.  So bored out of our minds we started brain storming  about names…with tiny cups of wine in hand.  After several minutes my good friend and work colleague Laura says something to the effect of I’ve got the name but it’s a bit out of date.  She blurts out “RandiBling”.  There and then the name was born…2 hours later I told my good friend Jim and before I knew it…the name was purchased…and there you have the story of how “RandiBling” was born!!  Great memories and great moments…thank you to all who helped create this amazing company!!  Many hugs with much love to all…~Randi

Turquoise and amethyst…

I really wanted to write about frustration, but when I found myself getting flustered over the subject, well I decided that really this was not the topic to blog on!!  So instead I am going to write on one of my new favorite combination, turquoise and amethyst.  This combination is fabulous, both in color and in properties.  I generally find myself using green turquoise because of it’s heart chakra help, but the green just seems to sing, especially when put with the yummy purple of amethyst. 

Turquoise, one of the oldest stones around is a stone about wholeness, communication and truth.  It is also great for bringing about total well being and elevating moods.  It helps us by teaching wisdom of compassion and forgiveness.  Amethyst has been known for it’s amazing energies for thousands of years.  It is about purification, protection and divine connection.  It is a stone of spiritual protection as well as as a stone for enhancement of one’s physical environment.  It stimulates the crown chakra and can help in meditation.  Amethyst can also clean one’s field from negative energy.   Hopefully you now see why this is one of my favorite combinations!!

Walking, calm the beach…

 While walking on the beach yesterday, I had so many thoughts running through my head…nothing uncommon being an Aquarian.  The one thing that I did know was that being on the beach with my feet in the sand was calming and grounding.   I spent time focused on the water and watching the waves as they came in and out as well as the sparkle of the sun shinning brightly on the water.  There was certainly a peace out there, a peace that I was grateful to experience.   I noticed we all seem to be in a state of confusion/chaos at the holiday season…and I really don’t understand why?!   If we look at what this is really all about…it’s about being with family and friends, but then shouldn’t we do that everyday?  Peace and calm and harmony, it’s what we should all strive for.  We can find that peace and calm anywhere, we just have to look for it instead of pushing it away.  I hope that we can all find some peace and harmony this season, and be grateful for our love ones, whether they are our family or our extended family. What I do know is that we should laugh as much as we can while we can, live for every moment is precious and love, yep the one that gets us hurt…well love with open abandon to everyone that matters to you!!   many hugs with much love to all…~Randi

Living Life

I am fortunate that I am getting to live my life how I want to.  Our lives are what we choose them to be.  I have chosen to change my life dramatically many times, why because I knew that there was always something more.  I was one that hated change, and every time I thought those words…yep something changed, usually not small things either!!  I would have never in my wildest dreams thought I would be creating jewelry, selling it by the beach watching the dolphins and meeting new people.  This piece is amethyst and rose quartz.  Purple the color of royalty, the color of the third eye chakra, the color that helps us to see the bigger picture.  Pink a color that helps us to open our hearts, to grab attention even if only for a moment.  I get to play with rocks and stones, create beautiful, functional pieces of jewelry.   I get to share my creations that are made with joy and love.  I get to do this until…yep, it’s time to change again…and when it does, I will embrace whatever comes my way, because it is my life and I want to live it to the fullest!!  many hugs and much love to all…
