Calm Blue Ocean…

Well it seems to be time to write again…and I must admit, the last couple of days have been interesting for everyone I know.   With all of this moon energy, the eclispe and just a shift in lots of everything…I head to the beach to walk.  I find peace and solice there, and if not peace then atleast a moment or two where the waves drown out the thoughts roaming in my head and the sun fills  my soul.   For myself personally these past couple of days have been  a time of looking and reflecting and yep, growth once again.   Asking myself, what is it that I really want.  You would think with all of the asking and searching that I have been doing…I would find the answers…well I believe that I did (atleast for this moment in my Aquarian life).   I found that I want peace and harmony and at all costs.   I found that I truly want to honor myself and not settle for anything because I am worth it.  I found that whether  I am with a special person in my life or without that the person that I have to be honest and gentile to is myself.  We are so hard on ourselves at times, hearing the tapes of our past …did we do the right thing, what will they think…yada yada yada…well I ask you WHO gives a rats ass what anyone thinks…other than yourself.    And those tapes, they were put there by someone who either really didn’t love us or was jealous of us…so with this moon I say get rid of those damn tapes!!    So in honor of those many walks on the beach that I have been taking…I named this new piece “Calm Blue Ocean”.  She is made with jaspers and agates.  She is grounding but more than that she is a piece that says…”I am Worth it!!”    I will be at 3rd Friday Music Series in Saftey Harbor this Friday in front of Harbor Accents come out and see me.   Everyone enjoy the full moon…in all her glory and many hugs with much love to you all…Randi

Choices…

While walking on the beach today I was wondering what I would write about today.  Let’s start with it’s St. Patrick’s day…so Happy St. Patrick’s day to one and all.  Then I thought that I could write about the Renaissance festival that I will be at as a vendor this weekend.  Then I really took a look at my life and realized how much it has changed and that I could really write about anything.  Three years ago, I didn’t know what a blog was and now I write one.  I create very cool, natural stone jewelry,  photograph that jewelry, manage my site and which  includes doing all of the writings and description and uploading all of the work so that you can all view it.    My how things can changed.   I am reminded everyday that we have choices to have our own life.  Speaking of choices…it is show season for artist in Florida…and there are shows every weekend.  The question, which one(s) to do?  Last weekend I was at the Apollo Beach Manatee Arts festival.  While the weather was very cool in the morning, the days were awesome!!  It was a great show for so many reasons…some of the artist I had the pleasure to meet, the staff that worked tirelessly to put on the event, and the patrons themselves, and oh let’s not to mention the business!!  This weekend I have chosen to be a vendor at the Bay Area Renaissance festival.  So I will dress as a wench or something festive for their wine, romance and chocolate weekend and get to be a part of olden days…How wonderful this will be…choices!!  I will be showcasing my vintage collars this weekend like the one in the picture.  Choices…I am really glad that I have them and that I can enjoy them as well as this new life!!   I hope that you have choices and that you are taking advantage of them. Many hugs with much love to you all   ~Randi

Moments Remembered…

There are many moments in our lives that we remember that bring us joy and smiles…I’d like to recall one of them.  I ofter get asked how did I come up with the name “RandiBling” for the company.  Well to be honest, I didn’t!!  I remember working a home show while still selling wine for a living…had just snuck out of the booth and attended a small gem show which was literally right next door.  One of my friends went with me.  I walked into the room and it was if I was pulled into a certain direction…to a table with lovely amethyst on it!!  I could not move until I had purchased a strand of this awesome stone.  We went back to the booth and the story was told…and we decided right there and then that I was hooked and would have to be selling my jewelry.  So bored out of our minds we started brain storming  about names…with tiny cups of wine in hand.  After several minutes my good friend and work colleague Laura says something to the effect of I’ve got the name but it’s a bit out of date.  She blurts out “RandiBling”.  There and then the name was born…2 hours later I told my good friend Jim and before I knew it…the name was purchased…and there you have the story of how “RandiBling” was born!!  Great memories and great moments…thank you to all who helped create this amazing company!!  Many hugs with much love to all…~Randi
